And on Monday, I added a West Coast feel to the podcast, by welcoming Pedro Moura of ESPNLA.com to discuss the USC Trojans spring practice, which wrapped up this past weekend.

Pedro does a fantastic job covering USC for the site, and he shared plenty of insight, starting with some "big picture," storylines about the program. Included were:

- The differences between the Pete Carroll and Lane Kiffin eras at ‘SC.

- How Kiffin’s demeanor and attitude are different than what most people nationally might think.

- If there’s any chance he could be on the hot-seat with another disappointing season this year.

- Why NCAA sanctions will have long lasting effects, well beyond next year when USC is bowl eligible again.

Then we transitioned into Saturday’s spring scrimmage discussing:

- Whether or not there should be concerns with Matt Barkley’s lethargic performance...

- Is Curtis McNeal the next breakout star, or simply a one scrimmage wonder?

- How the defense will play in Year 2 under Monte Kiffin.

And finally, Pedro wraps up by sharing some fun Ed Orgeron stories!
