- The concept of “The Extra 2 %,” what it is, and how it applies to the Rays

- What are realistic expectations in Tampa this year with so many players leaving in the offseason

- And much, much more…

On Tuesday, Aaron welcomed his old friend Matt Norlander of the CBS Sports College Basketball Blog onto to the podcast to talk some hoops (To listen to the podcast, just click the green box below, or to download from iTunes for a later listen, please click here).

Matt has had his ear to the ground of all things college hoops all season, and in this 45 minute podcast, he and Aaron cover a handful of topics, including:

- Texas’ meteoric rise to the top of college basketball, and why no one- not even the experts- saw this run coming.

- Why Matt thinks that regardless of their loss on Sunday, Duke still has a strong grasp on a No. 1 seed heading toward March.

- Matt and Aaron breakdown the Big East from all angles, determining which teams will survive into the NCAA Tournament in March, and which could be on the outside looking in. Matt also mentions why Georgetown is the current, “Flavor of the week.”

- What Kansas needs to do to quiet the doubters nationally, who still don’t believe they’re a team that can win the title.

- Why Matt will need to see a lot between now and the beginning of March to really believe that anyone is beating Ohio State.

- And finally, Matt wraps up by telling us a few teams who are set to make a run, and others ready to tumble.

If you’re a college hoops junkie, or just a casual fan looking to get caught up on the season, this is the podcast for you. Join Matt and Aaron by listening above, or downloading on iTunes, to get the full scoop on the college basketball scene!

On Wednesday, Aaron stepped away from the sports world, and welcomed his friend Syed onto the podcast to talk about America's greatest cultural phenomenon: Jersey Shore.

Syed has a Jersey Shore blog, and both consider themselves experts on the show, leading to some fun-filled banter (To listen to the podcast, click the green box below, or to download straight to your iPod, click here).

In one of Aaron's favorite podcasts yet, the two friends break down the show from all angles, including discussion on:

- JWoww and Tom's bitter breakup, who's to blame, and why, in at least one aspect, it might not have been as bad as it seemed.

- Deanna's hot tub romp with "Ronnie's stunt double," Dean, and why it was arguably the funniest moment in television history

- How Deanna has changed the dynamic of the cast, and why Syed likes her and Aaron doesn't

- Why America needs to be on a National Security alert with the emergence of Roger.

- What the future holds for both Ronnie and Sammi

- Who are Aaron and Syed's "MVP," or top three favorite characters

- Beyond the basics, a serious discussion on why this show continues to remain so successful and relevant deep into the third season.

- Why no matter what happened in his personal life, the players love playing for Rex and always have his back

- Whether it was right or wrong for Bill Belichick to sit Wes Welker for the first series of last weekend's game, and what impact it had

- What Frank was most surprised about in the way the Patriots approached that game, and what he thought they did wrong.

- Why Pasqualoni could have success recruiting the Connecticut kids that the previous regime never did
